1. Collection of Information
When we provide users with the Services, we ask users to provide us with their personal information in the registration procedure, including their name, sex, nationality, email address, address, place of work and type of business. We collect positional information from users’ mobile-phone units, the physical data of users, doctors’ diagnoses and advice for treatment, etc. based on the physical data of users, and the standard information that a browser sends to every website, including the IP address, type and language of browser, time of access and referring web site address through the Services.
2. Purpose of Use of Information
Information of users will be used for the following purposes:
To send necessary information to provide the Services, including welcome letters, information on technical issues regarding the Services and security announcements
To prevent unauthorized use of the Services
To verify individuals, and other necessary matters for the provision of the Services
To use for billing processing of the Services, deliver goods from MITAS and provide related after-sales services
To provide information of the Services
To provide advertising information of services provided by MITAS
To conduct user surveys on the Services
To perform statistical analysis regarding the Service
To analyze the relationships between the physical data and diagnoses by doctors or medical institutions, and to develop the software for such analysis
To confirm the users’ identification
To respond to users’ inquiries
To provide physical data of users to doctors, medical institutions and software development companies based on Article 4(1) below
3. Disclosure and Correction of Information
Users may request MITAS to disclose their information by contacting the following email address:
User information, as a general rule, is disclosed only to the person in question. Users may request MITAS to correct inaccurate information and to stop using and providing their information.
4. Disclosure of Information of Users to Third Parties
(1) MITAS may provide physical data of users to doctors, medical institutions and software development companies, in that case, MITAS shall keep the names of users confidential.
(2) MITAS may disclose information of users to third parties in the following events:
When MITAS obtains consent from a user in person with regard to disclosure of their Information;
When MITAS provides information of users to companies or individuals for the purpose of performing specific services on behalf of MITAS (including delivering emails and mail, processing user information and performing statistical analysis of the Services) to the extent necessary for them to perform such services; and
When MITAS accesses, uses, maintains or discloses information of users to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, (b) detect, prevent or otherwise address fraud, security issues or technical issues, or (c) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of MITAS, users or the public as required or permitted by law in the case where MITAS finds such protection necessary.
(3) MITAS shall not provide or disclose user information, excluding that described in (1) and (2) above, and cases permitted under laws or regulations.
